For the second year in a row the Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Folly Theater to help with the promotion of ticket sales for their annual benefit concert known as the Folly Frolic.
Folly Frolic 2022 will be very special. LaChanze and Krystal Joy Brown will be rocking the music of Donna Summer and Diana Ross in a high-energy, disco-inspired world premiere concert on November 19 at the Folly Theater.

The Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce will receive $5 for every ticket purchased using the discount code ‘LGBT’.
Your purchase not only helps to support the the Folly's fabulous theater programming, it will help support the LGBT Chamber's mission of creating equity for the LGBTQ+ community in the business world.

Tony-Award-Winning LaChanze (The Color Purple, Once On This Island, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical) and multi-talented Broadway favorite Krystal Joy Brown (Hamilton, Hair, Motown: The Musical) won critics’ praise for their star-studded performances on Broadway as Donna Summer and Diana Ross. Now, these stage stars bring their powerhouse vocals to the newly-renovated Folly Theater for a one-night only extravaganza! You will be dancing in your seat to iconic songs like “I Will Survive,” “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” “Hot Stuff,” “Last Dance,” and many more disco and pop music favorites. You won’t want to miss this unforgettable evening!

About the Folly Theater
The Folly Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the Downtown Kansas City Loop. The theater was built in 1900 by Louis Curtiss, and is the area's oldest historic theater. The Folly Theater presents three series each season, including the Folly Jazz Series, Cyprus Avenue Live with KCUR's Bill Shapiro, and the Folly Kids Series. The Folly Theater programming is made possible by ticket sales and generous donations from public, private, and individual intensities with an invested interest in the performing arts. Resident presenters include The Harriman-Jewell Series, The Friends of Chamber Music, the Heartland Men's Chorus, and the Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey.
